Job description
This position will be working as a door screener.
Under direct supervision, provides administrative support for the security functions of Flagler Health+. Duties may include
issuance and maintenance of access cards and keys, screening of visitors using manual and automated systems (i.e.
Metal Detector), supervision of security and/or clerical support staff, monitoring of alarm systems, preparation of
contractor/vendor/ clearance forms, maintenance of security documents and other data in either hard copy or
computerized formats.
- Processes the acquisition of security clearances and coordinates the return of security badges. As assigned completes
visitor screening to prevent prohibited items from entering the facility through the use of automated and manual systems (i.e. hand held scanners and walk through metal detectors) - Processes employee badges and key card access.
- Processes visitor requests for access to high security facilities.
- Issues additional card key access. Issues and tracks office keys to individuals as appropriate.
- Monitors intrusion detection alarms, to include visitor screening process, and notifies Security personnel when security breaches occur. This includes in-depth screening (i.e. Pat Down Method).
- Maintains database records and hard copy files including those used to track safety and security data.
- Provides clerical and/or accounting support to the unit, as appropriate to the position, including typing and data entry of expense request.
- Prepares and maintains classified documents in either hard copy or computerized formats of environment of care repair/request.
- Maintains and monitors Vendor-mate and Reb-scrub vendor machine issues and requests.
- Issues and tracks disciplinary security issues (i.e. parking violations, non-compliance vendors etc.).
Experience
Preferred- 1 year(s): Knowledge and application of security policies and procedures associated with indicated job duties preferred.
Education
Required- High School/GED or better
