The Roof bar located at The Broadway Columbia Hotel is currently hiring candidates for a Security position. The employee in this position is responsible for ensuring the safety of guests and team members and the security of the hotel and property. The ideal candidate will have some experience with security and is willing to work weekends/holidays.

Applicants MUST be at least 21 years of age and be able to pass a drug test.

Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Patrol the interior of The Roof and the property to observe and identify potential safety risks, security risks and undesirable conditions
• Respond to emergency situations including, but not limited to, safety hazards, fires, medical emergencies and threats to life and/or property
• Promote safe work practices
• Initiate preliminary investigations into incidents, as needed
• Write reports and ensures accuracy of necessary documentation, as needed
• Respond to guest/team members inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
• Ensure that the management team is kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from guests and/or other departments
• Checking guests ID's at the entrance when necessary
• Escorting guests in a friendly manner when needed
• Weekend/Holiday availability preferred
