We are a retail focused, promotional company for Wine, Spirits & Beer seeking professional people to join our team in and around the Lawrence, Topeka and surrounding area.

Our Brand Ambassadors are the face of our business and responsible for executing a first class customer experience in promoting adult beverages. Professional certifications CSW, WSET, Sommelier, Cicerone, etc. are greatly desired.

We will match you with your knowledge and strengths and provide ongoing learning resources.

This is a part-time opportunity, mostly Fridays and Saturday afternoons and early evenings.

Perfect opportunity for retired or semi-retired people that love interacting with people and selling.

Responsibilities and Duties

Conduct in-store alcohol sample events in retail locations

• Print, review and study product information prior to entering account (detailed product information will be provided)
• Set up tasting station - Must bring your own supplies and tools: sample table, ice bucket and black table cloth, opener etc
• Record and recap to our online management system (sales, samples and other basic items)

Qualifications and Skills

• TIPS or Off-Premises Responsible Serving® of Alcohol Certified (very easy to get online
• Working knowledge of at least one of the three major categories (Wine / Spirits / Beer)
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Must be very outgoing and enjoy selling

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Evening shift
• Holidays
• Weekend availability

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
• Brand Ambassador & Demonstrator: 1 year (Preferred)
• Bartending: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
• Off-Premise Responsible Service of Alcohol, Save Serv, TIPS (Preferred)
• Certified Sommelier, Cicerone, WSET or CSW/CSS (Preferred)
