PRIMARY FUNCTION:

This position is responsible for the Net Patient Service Revenue calculation and reporting for JMG concerning both the Actual and Budget.

This reporting includes the audited financial statements, monthly internal financial statements, and related schedules.

This position works closely with Physician Billing, JMG Finance, JMG Operational Leadership and Contract Management to develop and value the net Accounts Receivable.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
• Coordinates the completion of JMG’s revenue recognition and reporting.
• Prepare revenue rate & volume variance analysis by physician practice and other Revenue KPIs on a monthly basis..
• Develops a uniform and cohesive revenue reporting process for JMG.
• Process all revenue entries on a monthly basis.

EDUCATIONAL/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or Finance

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of 3-5 Years of Physician Practice financial accounting experience in a large physician network setting. Relevant Physician revenue recognition responsibilities a plus.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Peoplesoft and Hyperion

EPIC experience preferred (includes adhoc data capture and reporting)
