You are right for this role if you are passionate about adding value to a fast-paced organization through the delivery of timely, complete and accurate financial information. You are forward looking and possess the experience to build the foundation for Seismic to scale to a multi-billion dollar company. Ideally, you have a mix of Big Four and industry experience and a bachelor's degree.

Who you are:

  • 3+ years' experience in an accounting role
  • Must have strong knowledge of accounting practices and GAAP
  • Must be proficient with Excel and have working knowledge of accounting software; Netsuite a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced accounting environment
  • BS/BA in Accounting or equivalent
  • Big 4/public accounting experience a plus
  • Experience with M&A activities a plus

What you will be doing:

  • Maintain general ledger by preparing and recording asset, liability, and expense entries of multiple subsidiaries
  • Record, track, and reconcile multi-currency intercompany transactions
  • Assist in management of month-end and quarter-end close, including journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Perform variance analyses and commentary for monthly financial statements
  • Prepare schedules and provide information for year-end audit and tax returns
  • Assist in preparation of international compliance items, including annual audits and quarterly filings
  • Record monthly transactions related to benefits, commissions, bonus, 401(k)
  • Document business processes in conjunction with accounting policies that pertain to period end close work
  • Other duties as assigned
