Responsibilities:

  • Candidate will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist supporting a Major Army Aviation developmental weapon system program. Employee will support GVT PSM LOG Branch Chief working individual projects as well as with multiple cross functional teams in the planning, cost estimating, budgeting, developing, implementing, and managing of effective Product Support Strategies. Candidate will support analysis of approved materiel and system readiness requirements for weapons systems, sub-systems, components, support equipment/programs, and embedded software development IAW Section 2337 of Title 10, U.S.C.
  • Candidate performs analysis of proposed materials/technical solutions from concept through design, production, fielding and disposal considering 12 Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements IAW DoDi 5000.91 ensuring compliance with approved requirement documents and applicable statutory and regulatory policy.
  • Supports, coordinates, develops, and documents critical program strategies and plans including the Life Cycle Support Plan with requisite annexes and the Cost Analysis Requirements Description (CARD)required for the Program Office Estimate in support of Program Acquisition Milestones activities IAW DoD 5000.2/85/91 and AR 70-1.
  • Conducts the full range of analysis, planning, and documentation for DoD Developmental Program of Record Request for Proposal (RFP) and contract Statement of Work (SOW), CDRL creation.
  • Develops, interprets, and applies a wide range of DOD, Army and PEO acquisition and logistics policies, directives, and precedents to provide support of the program requirements and timelines.
  • Duties include the coordination for and participation in Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and working groups WG interface with internal and external stakeholders including GVT logisticians, technical, programmatic and business element managers, contract support services, training facilities, supporting material, and other Army organizational commands and their staff.
  • Provide logistics planning, analysis, requirements verification, technical review of documentation, and integration across all phases of the acquisition lifecycle.
  • Prepare project reports, briefings, logistics planning documents, transition plans, operational acceptance criteria, and facilitate logistics and transition planning working groups/forums.
  • Documents meeting minutes and transition lessons learned for process improvement. Work with GVT Leds and transition partners to ensure appropriate transfer of technology and require data.
  • Creates and manages electronic data IAW prescribed GVT Configuration Management and Data Management Policies.
  • Tracks assigned Government Furnished Property for PM FARA.

Qualifications:

Required Experience Training and/or Skills:

Resume demonstrates experience related to duties described above.

10 years’ experience in DoD Acquisition Logistics and Integrated Product Support document development and policy implementation.

Strong oral and written communications skills.


Education:

Bachelor’s degree or Greater

Secret Security Clearance (Active) required


Preferred:

Experience in initial phases of Army Aviation Procurement Life Cycle, Integrated Product Support, and Sustainment programs planning.
