ILI Actuarial is seeking a highly motivated, analytical and collaborative individual for the role of Senior Actuarial Associate within the ILI Strategy & Closed Block team. The team plays a key role in leading and supporting high priority ILI initiatives and interacts with senior leaders and business partners on a daily basis.

The team is responsible for ILI Actuarial Strategy, Inforce Management and Closed Block. The role itself is dynamic, with project-based work designed to drive business strategy alongside supporting Inforce Management and Closed Block responsibilities. The individual will have the opportunity to present project work and other results to senior leaders within ILI including the Chief Actuary

Responsibilities:

  • Support high priority projects supporting the Individual Life business
  • Perform Rate Setting, NGEs, and hedging processes
  • Support Closed Block dividend generation, reporting and stress testing which include AAT, DST, LST, RP and financing projections
  • Collaborate with business partners including Product, Finance, Treasurers, CIO, CBEO and Actuarial areas such as Pricing, Valuation, and Modeling

Qualifications:

  • B.A. / B.S. required
  • Progression towards ASA preferred
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and partnering skills
  • Self-motivated and flexible
  • Strong oral, written and visual communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Experience with Python & PowerBI a plus
  • Life insurance experience a plus

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $93,200.00 to $138,600.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
