Raytheon Missiles & Defense (RMD) is hiring for a Senior Analyst Procurement role within the Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM), Domestic Acquisition Solutions (DAS) organization. This role is currently a telecommute/work remotely position and reports to the Senior Manager within the Guidance and Navigation Team. In this role you will be responsible for the overall procurement activities in support of the Guidance and Navigation Department, which manages the following technologies: Circuit Card Assemblies, and integrated box build assemblies. You will also have the opportunity to work in a dynamic growth-oriented environment that supports a broad portfolio of programs across multiple Mission Areas.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Maintain and foster Supplier Relationship and Performance
  • Support the organizational success through customer and supplier management.
  • Achieve customer expectations, meeting business factory MRP and financial requirements.
  • Manage key metrics; Late to Place, Late to Dock, Delinquent Material, etc. for assigned suppliers and program customers.
  • Perform procurement of low to medium purchase orders utilizing integrated supply chain models in compliance with all FAR/DFARS regulatory and corporate requirements. Primary capabilities in procurement such as the following will be needed:
  • Strong organization skills
  • Preparation of solicitations, including RFQs, RFPs, and RFI
  • Analyze quotations/proposals utilizing price/cost analysis techniques
  • Support negotiation strategies and formal negotiations (Price, Delivery, Terms)
  • Place Purchase Orders of low to medium dollar levels and procurement complexity
  • This will be a hybrid role, with travel to Raytheon Technologies and supplier facilities as deemed necessary and appropriate to conduct business (~10-20% of the time)

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced degree in a related field OR In absence of a degree, 6 plus years of relevant experience is required.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Value:

  • Master’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business Finance or STEM field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge / compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS).
  • Familiarity with written contractual authorization/vehicles (Cost Plus, Firm Fixed Price etc.).
  • Ability to review Cost and Pricing Data and determine proposal compliance (FAR 15.4).
  • Ability to successfully execute a competitive procurement including development of evaluation criteria.
  • Ability to understand technical requirements of procured hardware and services including Statement of Work (SOW) review.
  • Experience with Customer and Supplier management.
  • Working Knowledge of SAP/PRISM.
  • Experience issuing RFPs, analyzing proposals, and compiling procurement packages.
  • Familiarity with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
  • Ability to process information and manage multiple conflicting priorities to drive to successful outcome (i.e. Multi-task).

This position requires either a U.S. Person or Non- U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.

Clearance Information: This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 62,000 USD - 124,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
