The Sr Analyst Tactical Sourcing Supply Chain position will support the day-to-day strategic sourcing activities for the acquisition of goods and services within the Ally Supply Chain Purchasing Office. Additionally, the role will collaborate with Purchasing Leadership and other team members to establish best practices and implement contracting efficiencies in a team matrix environment.

• Directly provide ancillary support for the procurement and supply chain management process.
• Partner with Manager, Tactical Sourcing on the execution of the supply chain strategies for various commodities.
• Analyze supplier contracts to assist with data entry and dashboard reporting.
• Assists with the documentation and maintenance of Purchasing Office workflows to support daily procedures.
• Action contracting issues identified for resolution to ensure internal policies and regulatory guidelines are followed.
• Collaborate with Sourcing & Purchasing team to drive continuous improvement opportunities and workflow efficiencies.
• Partner with Data Analytics and Reporting partners to identify and track purchasing opportunities.

• 3+ years of supply chain management, purchasing and/or strategic sourcing experience within financial services industry preferred.
• Experience managing multiple categories required.
• Experience in people management (direct or indirect) required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance or other related degree preferred.
• General knowledge of the strategic sourcing landscape with the capability to analyze business procurement issues, recommend solutions and implement change.
• Strong reporting/spend analytics skillset to develop and present cost models for savings opportunities.
• Coupa, ARIBA or other purchasing platform end user/admin proficiency.
• Expertise in Microsoft Office applications (VISIO, PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI) strongly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, written, verbal and presentation communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively across business levels (both vertically and horizontally).
• Requires minimal supervision or direction to effectively implement strategic objectives.
• High degree of self-motivation and strong work ethic.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail required.
• Customer focused and quality driven.
