About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Analytics Consultant to join the Transformation and Products Team . This role will lead the build out of a process and provide service reporting and analytics framework to support this process. You will collaborate with process owners, service owners, and HR leaders to define the metrics needed. You will also partner with technology to build the tools to support reporting and analytics for processes and services across Human Resources.

In this role, you will:
  • Develop core process and service reporting and analytics, utilizing a variety of tools including SAS, Tableau, SQL, and Power BI.
  • Provide leadership to the ongoing transformation of process and service measurement. Partner with key stakeholders across HR to understand their priorities and support existing process measurement dashboards.
  • Partner with process engineers to ensure on-going reporting from post-process improvement engagements.
  • Manage the ongoing development of reporting to proactively identify additional metrics to support HR processes and services; including new analytics and metrics to be reported from Workday.
  • Provide descriptive analytics to influence process owners and service owners where to direct their improvement needs; including performance metrics, trends in operational data and other complex data to maximize effectiveness and efficiency, and minimize operational issues, risk, and ensure other operating standards.
  • Query and join data across multiple databases to provide holistic reporting for process owners and service owners to run their business.
  • Mentor or manage less experienced staff, interns, and external contractors.
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and more experienced managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance and legal regulations and policies on all projects managed.
  • Provide updates on project logs, monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews, and other operations reviews.
Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Desired Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience with SAS or SQL , or other data management, reporting and query tools.
  • 3+ years of experience with SQL Server database design and administration .
  • 2+ years of experience in one or more BI (business intelligence) tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy with experience compiling and summarizing information in a compelling way that tells a story which can be shared with senior leaders within the organization.
  • Ability to translate and summarize complex data into understandable, actionable information and recommendations through excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience conducting project meetings, presentations, and status reporting.
  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrixed environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members across the organization.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environment while also collaborating in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important.
