What you will be doing:

Our Member Success department is responsible for leading strategic programs that provide best-in-class education and support for all of our members (aka small business owners). They take insights from the member experience and shape our product, marketing, and engineering strategy every day.

As Senior Associate, Member Success at Alignable, you will talk to our members, understand the value they’re seeking and help them realize it. You’ll also engage internally with Product, Marketing and Engineering teams to identify opportunities that improve customer experience and drive value for our members.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about helping small businesses be successful and gains satisfaction from talking to members and helping them realize value. Someone who also enjoys improving operational efficiency for themself and the systems they use and thrives [and wants to grow] in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

In this role, you’ll be assigned someone who will mentor and support your development in preparation for your future at Alignable.

What success looks like:

    • Work directly with our small business members to learn what makes them tick and the challenges they face and advocate for them across the organization — be the voice for small businesses!
    • Work on a variety of different projects ranging from content creation, account management, and member retention.
    • Educate small business owners on the value of Alignable, and how it can help them grow their business.
    • Work on written and video content that invokes passion, driving our users to find success on Alignable, driving growth and retention.
    • Drive user-centricity across the organization by collecting, categorizing, and distributing user feedback across the organization.
    • Foster a welcoming community by building, managing, and enforcing community guidelines to protect our members from harmful & hurtful content.
    • Be an advocate for Alignable's users by presenting your learnings and discoveries from talking with members to the entire organization in routine presentations.
    • Use the projects you run and the data you find to help drive greater strategy decisions that will allow members to become more successful.
    • Use your marketing knowledge, communication skills, and creativity to help small businesses across North America get the most out of Alignable.
    • Leverage data to analyze issues, patterns, and trends in member behavior and develop a game plan to solve through better education.
    • Work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and engineering teams to help inform product and business strategy based on user behavior

What you will bring:

    • You have 1-3 years of work experience in advocacy, customer success, learning & development, or other member facing role
    • You have customer empathy in your DNA
    • You have strong written and verbal communication skills
    • You bring experience driving a Help Desk/CRM tool (eg. Zendesk, Intercom, Freshdesk, Kustomer, etc.) through backend management or automations
    • You love solving problems through rapid testing, failing fast, using data, and asking a lot of questions.
    • You can easily adapt to fast pace and changing environments
    • You are an independent thinker constantly on the lookout for faster and better ways
    • You are highly organized

Bonus skills & experience:

    • You have experience working with small businesses and helping them succeed
    • You have used automation & organizational tools like Airtable, Notion, Zapier, Webflow
    • You have experience with support tools such as Zendesk, chat bots, or direct messaging
    • You have experience or excitement around learning systems and how they run, integrate with our tools, and help our members have a seamless experience
