Job Title :: Senior Business Process Management (BPM) Developer

Job Location :: Alhambra, CA

Position Description ::

  • The Senior BPM Developer will manage and oversee the county-wide and departmental electronic form applications, including but not limited to supporting, planning, architecting, developing, re-designing/modifying, testing, installing, configuring, and optimizing all existing and new electronic forms/business processes based on business needs, requirements, and analysis using the low code BPM workflow/tool like Nintex, PowerApps, or other development tools. The Senior BPM Developer will possess knowledge, best practices, and technical expertise/experience in application software development methodologies; responsible to analyze, refine and translate requirements into design; develop, test, implement, and support of the new/modified automated electronic form / workflow / business processes; deploy, configure, optimize and integrate applications and components; write and maintain system documentation; database management principles including structure, design, modeling and optimization; performance management and assessment including monitoring and managing applications performances; apply vendor provided hotfixes and patches; possess good Business Process Management (BPM) knowledge and skills. The Senior BPM Developer will provide subject matter expertise in industry to evaluate new software technologies; work with customers, software vendors, and internal teams within the IT organization to support and or troubleshoot application related work such as customer requests and or incidents as applicable.

Skills Required ::

  • The Senior BPM Developer will possess knowledge and experience in customer service; flexibility; interpersonal skills; organizational awareness; problem solving, reasoning; team building; oral communication, speaking and writing; project management; requirements analysis and risk management; data and information management; information technology performance assessment; and application design.

Experience Required ::

  • This classification must have: Two (2) years of experience within last five (5) years in designing business processes, electronic forms and layout, User Interface/ User Experience using BPM designer tools like Nintex, PowerApps, and/or other tool on-prem and Nintex Workflow Cloud; Two (2) years of experience within the last five (5) years in implement solutions with multiple data sources (e.g., MS Azure SQL, MS SQL Server, and Oracle Databases); Two (2) years of experience within the last five (5) years in SharePoint Online, SharePoint Designer, Microsoft Office 365 (O365), Azure Cloud/ AD, and API/ Rest services integrations; and, Five (5) years of experience in object-oriented programming using Java, PowerShell, Power Automate, or .NET.

Experience Preferred ::

  • Two (2) years of experience with PowerApps Two (2) years of experience Power Automate Two (2) years of experience Dataverse Two (2) years of experience SharePoint Online Two (2) years of experience PowerShell Two (2) years of experience Power Bi Fiver (5) years of developer experience.

Education Required ::

  • This classification requires the possession of a bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
