The Opportunity

Ulteig’s Senior Business Systems Analyst is a subject matter expert who embraces the goal of building processes that make the most effective use of our business applications though technical support and liaising with the business users. In doing so they partner with a variety of key business stakeholders to not only understand current business process but also create new ones. This position provides is instrumental in building the tools Ulteig leadership depend on for decision making.

What You’ll Do

  • Leads efforts to design and implement innovative solutions to meet business needs, inclusive of both system changes and process changes.
  • Excels as a subject matter expert for systems used by Ulteig’s sales, accounting, and project management teams.
  • Builds strong working relationships throughout Ulteig’s employee base.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for Ulteig’s business applications including configuration, security and other areas as required.
  • Advises system users about how to maintain high quality system data.
  • Owns translation of end user needs into actionable solution designs and acts on them.
  • Stays current with new product releases, methodologies, and technologies that are applicable to Ulteig’s business applications.
  • Leads root cause analysis conversations when evaluating business processes identified as needing updating.
  • Coordinates key events in major business application projects including software implementations, major feature releases, and decommissioning.
  • Document core system changes per internal change control and system governance policies.
  • Clearly articulate strategy to cross functional groups as it pertains to business applications and department specific processes.
  • Build relationships with external vendors who will work closely to help build and maintain Ulteig’s Business applications on an as needed basis.
  • Additional related responsibilities as assigned.

What We Expect from You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field preferred
  • Minimum 7 years of systems analyst work or equivalent business analysis or consultancy experience
  • At least 5 years’ experience supporting enterprise level systems such as CRM, ERPs, Resource and Project management solutions.
  • Hands on experience and comfort designing C Level communications and reports.
  • Established comfort with using formulas, calculations, and pivot tables within spreadsheets.
  • Prefer familiarity with Microsoft ecosystem such as Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365 Apps, Power Platform and Azure based technology
  • Established experience working within a consulting or professional services atmosphere
  • High level of organizational maturity with general working knowledge of concepts such as sales operations, common accounting practices for professional services, resource management and/or project management.
  • Prior experience as a leader on major enterprise level software projects including implementation, upgrade, and decommissioning.
  • Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S.

Additional Opportunity Details:
Compensation Range is Generally +/- 15% of Position Mid-Point is $116,000*
