In addition to our robust benefits package, the hiring range for this position is $85,000 - $95,000. While this is the targeted range, final offer amounts will depend on a variety of factors, including the candidate’s geographic location, prior relevant experience, and their knowledge, skills, and abilities. - Process renewals and incidental new business.
- Delegate cancellations, audits, and endorsement requests.
- Invoice policies, audits, endorsements, and cancellations as appropriate.
- Responsible for accuracy of your work product and that of others assisting you.
- Monitor issuance of certificates of insurance.
- Create certificate guidelines form.
- Responsible for renewal list.
- Market renewal policies.
- Negotiate coverages and premiums with carriers.
- Provide producer with renewal proposals.
- Final check on policies for coverage.
- Respond to or refer insured’s’ and underwriters’ questions or requests.
- Assist producer, accounting department and client in the reconciliation of client accounts.
- Responsible for account rounding.
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external clients.
- Responsible for preservation of Bolton culture and image as set forth in our company policies and procedures.
- Conduct yourself in a professional, collaborative, and respectful manner within a team environment.
- Responsible for mentoring other team members.
- Attend company and department meetings, position-related seminars/classes, client meetings, carrier functions, and other events as required.
- Pursue a program for personal and professional development, including educational classes in your specific field and those offered by Bolton in communication, leadership, corporate language and other classes as recommended by leaders.
- 4 year college degree preferred. 5-7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Property & Casualty Insurance License.
- CISR/CIC designation.
- Demonstrated ability to delegate and direct others, effectively manage workflows, and problem solve independently Demonstrates excellent time management and organization skills.
- Willingness to pursue a program for professional development.
- Demonstrated ability to handle an increasingly complex book of business.
- Consultative approach.
