Senior Clinical Psychologist (Dublin North)
Children’s Disability Network Team
The Children’s Disability Network Team provides therapeutic services to children and young people (0 -18) with a range of complex needs arising from a disability and whom are living within the Network. There will be a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary team working and family centred practice as per the principles of Progressing Disabilities for Children and Young People.
The Senior Psychologist will work in line with team service plans and objectives and within established professional standards, guidelines and policy.
They will support assessment and interventions in line with principles of Children’s Disability Network Teams
They will provide diagnostic assessments in line with clinical presentation and requirements of the Disability Act 2005.
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary will be dependent on experience (€90,314 – €106,158)
- Relocation Package.
- Full-time, Permanent.
- Monday – Friday.
- 35 hour working week.
Essential Requirements:
- Have a university degree or diploma (QQ1 level 8 equivalent) obtained with 1st or 2nd class honours in which Psychology was taken as a major subject and honours obtained in that subject.
- Have an Irish post-graduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland in Clinical or Counselling Psychology or an equivalent qualification from another jurisdiction which can be validated by the Department of Health.
- 5 years satisfactory post-graduate experience in the area of professional psychology.
