We're seeking a Senior Java Engineer with strong Cloud-Native experience to join a new fast-paced cross-functional agile team that will work on building products from start to finish using latest cloud native tools and technologies. This team will primarily focus on projects in the Telecoms sector, so an interest in modern tech in this sector, such as 5G or Cloud-RAN will be essential
Along with day-to-day development responsibilities, we're heavily focused on L&D within the team, so some of your time will be spent on upskilling on the newest Cloud technologies, and also in sharing your already existing experience and skills with more junior members of the team.
We're a flexible bunch, so while our office is in Dublin we welcome applications from elsewhere in Ireland; we're open to hiring on a remote, hybrid or office based model depending on what suits your lifestyle.
Requirements:
- 5+ Years of Java Development experience
- Knowledge of CI systems/pipeline creation, maintenance and execution
- Demonstrable track record with microservices architecture
- Commercial experience with Kubernetes and Docker
- Strong Linux understanding and interest
- A passion for working in an Agile Environment
Experience with Python or Go and Public Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) would be beneficial, but not crucial. An interest in upskilling in these areas would be highly desirable if you do not already have experience with them.
