AMC, a fast growing commercial general contractor in Lake Park, has an immediate opening for a Senior Construction Estimator. We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team! You must be familiar with a wide range of worksites, cost structures, and timelines. Your job duties include surveying potential worksites, collaborating with contractors, vendors, and labor agencies, and providing a comprehensive cost analysis for potential clients. Every estimate needs to address all relevant governmental regulations.

Responsibilities:

· Prepare and estimate budget costs by studying plans and specifications

· CSI divisions (1-16)

· Conceptual budgeting

· Analyzing subcontractor proposal and scopes

· Preparation of RFIs and communication with professionals

· Quantity takeoffs, use of On-Screen Takeoff a plus

Skills:

· Excellent plan and specification reading skills

· Proficient in Excel spreadsheets

· Scoping projects

· Strong communication skills

· Knowledge and use of Microsoft project a plus

· Knowledge of local vendors a plus

Pay and Benefits Package:

Education and Experience Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree is required. At least five years of related experience is required.

Full-time schedule is M-F from 8am-5pm.
