Summary
CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Enterprise Credit Team. We are looking for a Sr. Credit Analyst to work within our Special Assets group primarily focused on our retail business and CHS Capital our financial services provider. You must have excellent organization skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities to ensure customer needs are met. You will need to be adaptable, detail oriented, dependable, a team player, a self-starter, and have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities
- Assist Special Assets Officers with financial analysis of accounts within the portfolio, including the assessment of financial risk and credit worthiness, identifying key risk elements and security requirements, assigning risk ratings and recommending actions to reduce risk to CHS
- Interact with customers, loan officers, and business partners to gather operational and financial information in order to complete analysis
- Review customer submitted information for completeness and accuracy
- Ensure compliance with credit policy and established guidelines
- Report on credit risks and market conditions impacting the portfolio of accounts
- Help drive continued improvements to streamline processes
Minimum Qualifications (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Agri-Business, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting and/or Credit
Additional Qualifications
- Agriculture background
- Understanding of UCC liens and/or Ag liens
- Experience with PowerBI
- Excellent critical thinking, financial analysis and decision making skills
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with business partners, and build and maintain positive customer relationships
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities to ensure excellent customer service
