Job summary
We’re looking for a multifaceted and highly-motivated individual that is seeking a position with the global leader in commercial real estate services. This candidate will provide solutions to computer Forensics and eDiscovery requests and collaborate with the Global teams. The candidate must have experience in Global Forensic / e-Discovery and Investigations as well as proven understanding of Data Protection as it relates to evidence gathering procedures in the global environment. Outstanding knowledge of Forensic applications such as EnCase Opentext/Accelerate, Magnet Axiom and knowledge of SQL query language, database solutions and Microsoft Applications (O365, PowerBI). Candidate will be responsible for developing/maintaining workflows in computer investigations, collaborating with the Legal, People Teams and Compliance departments as well as produce management and investigation reports. Attention to timeliness, detail, communications and writing skills are a must.

Responsibilities
  • Apply forensic software (Magnet Axiom) to capture computer images, analyze (example: Internet History, Shell Bag, Log file, MFT analysis in Window and Mac environments) and report findings in a non-technical manner in a detailed written report
  • Sophisticated knowledge of Chain of Custody procedures; ability to keep detailed project notes in the CBRE ticketing system
  • Assist the global teams providing requested electronic data for privacy issues, Compliance, Legal and People Team(s) as well as other data related requests
  • Maintain Legal Holds (creating and releasing) in the BOX and the O365 environments (Exchange, OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint) and reporting as needed
  • Ability to query and analyze data from disparate sources; typically using Excel Templates/formulas
  • Advanced knowledge of the e-Discovery “EDRM” workflow
  • Facilitate updates to standards, processes and documentation that guide the design and use of e-Discovery and Forensic solutions; simplify sophisticated requirements and present the information to teams and management
  • Solve and resolve data failures by identifying and analyzing the situation and provide corrective actions
  • Process incoming emails, network data and other structured and unstructured data
  • Wherewithal to test/maintain e-Discovery/Forensic solutions and provide guidance on decisions regarding tool selection and business unit objectives
  • Skills to seek assistance from Global Teams and build relationships with Vendors
  • Maintain Global eDiscovery servers and knowledge for testing software updates
Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) or Master's degree in related field of work or equivalent work experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Forensic/eDiscovery Solutions
  • Ability to troubleshoot sophisticated problems, conflicting priorities and technical issues in a timely manner
  • Strong communication and conceptual skills with desire to share knowledge, cross-train and assist where vital
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Energy, passion, flexibility and a strong work ethic is a must
  • Ability to work outside of the normal 8– 5 working hours
