About this Role:
Managed Business Solutions is seeking an experienced Sr. Data Conversion Analyst with Pension or Health experience to join our internal Development team in support of our Pension and Health Benefits data migration team. This is a full-time, salaried position with benefits. The Sr. Data Conversion Analyst will have direct customer contact and be responsible for performing data profiling, conducting data mapping sessions, and issue tracking. This is a telecommuting (virtual) role and requires a US citizenship.
Job Summary:
The Senior Data Conversion Analyst will conduct research and perform data analysis including developing and validating statistical models, create dashboards, write analysis reports, and provide recommendations for improving data analysis and models for clients. Will combine large, disparate data sets to find opportunities to answer questions and provide insight for decision making.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Gain a clear understanding of the business processes and data structures of the customer systems.
- Work with subject matter experts and project team to identify, define, document and communicate data migration requirements.
- Facilitate requirements traceability from data migration requirements through test cases and defects
- Perform source system data analysis to manage source to target data mapping.
- Perform data profiling and assist with the identification of trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Facilitate QA testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Create technical and user documentation, as needed.
- Communicate with team leaders and project management as well as the user community to ensure needs are understood and met.
- Assist development teams and project management teams to develop realistic timelines for client needs and work with client users to facilitate key, timely communication to mitigate change impacts and scope creep.

- 2-5 years of experience within financial / pensions / benefits. Insurance industry experience.
- 3+ years of experience facilitating workshops and requirements sessions (remote and in person).
- Experience describing data mapping requirements in detail.
- Experience writing test plans or working with QA / testing teams
- Experience with issue tracking systems such as Jira
