We are looking for a Bigdata Engineer to join our team. Bigdata Engineer will support the development of data-driven applications by using data and analytics that support highly personalized interactions for our customers and drive innovation. The work location is in St. Louis, MO.
Technical requirements:
· 5+ years of experience in working as a Bigdata Engineer.
· Strong hands-on experience in SQL and relational database experience required.
· Good experience in Spark and Python.
· Experience using big data in cloud environment (GCP preferred).
· Experience setting clear standards for design, documentation, testing, and code quality.
· Proficient understanding of distributed computing principles
· Good knowledge of Big Data querying tools, such as BigQuery, and Hive.
· Experience with various messaging systems, such as Kafka and Pub Sub.
· Ability to conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peer team members.
· Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence experience a plus.
Ideal qualifications:
· GCP Data Engineer Certified
· Experience working with digital marketing and analytics data from various sources (Google/Adobe Analytics, Sales, CRM, Advertising, etc.)
· Experience in building distributed, high-volume data services
· Knowledge of data science tools and their integration with data lakes
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
