Job description

Currently recruiting for a Senior Design Engineer in Cork City on behalf of client. You will work on a range of projects, including Commercial, Retail, Hotel, Residential, and Education.

The successful Engineer will be responsible for working as part of a team, whilst liaising with Clients, Contractors, and Design Teams. The candidate will be required to report to a Director or Senior Engineer. Duties will include carrying out designs, inspections, liaising with the design team members and contractors.

Ideal Candidate:

• 10+ years post graduate experience in a consultancy role.
• A Level 8 degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• An EI membership with ambition for Chartered Engineering status
• Adequate experience on the design of sustainable urban drainage systems and general building drainage systems.
• Demonstrable knowledge of the relevant Technical Guidance Documents.
• Attention to detail, excellent analytical and numerical skills.

• Full clean Irish driving license.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: €65,000.00-€70,000.00 per year

• Overtime
