We are seeking a Senior Director, Strategy & Finance, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), who will serve as a strategic thought partner across multiple philanthropic departments within The Wonderful Company as well as with other company leaders within The Wonderful Company portfolio of brands.
This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer of CSR and is based in Los Angeles, CA and will require travel to the Central Valley.
- Lead strategic, operational, and analytical initiatives supporting Wonderful Education, Wonderful Health & Wellness, and Philanthropy/Community Initiatives, and Wonderful College Prep Academy
- Oversee a team dedicated to developing our data and analytics capabilities, constantly iterating and improving processes and outputs
- Enhance and build out our student data system to track and evaluate the efficacy of our programs and resources; improve our Health and Wellness data analytics capabilities
- Drive ad hoc reporting and deep program-related analysis to ensure our programs are consistently executing at the highest level and providing insights to guide leadership decision making
- Identify, plan and oversee strategy and initiatives for program improvement and financial feasibility
- Develop and implement performance metrics across all programs through our internal continuous improvement programs (WOW and Wonderful Way)
- Drive the annual budget cycle and related executive presentations required for approval
- Analyze and report on financial results under, or related to CSR organization
- Serve as the primary contact for accounting and finance when reporting and developing presentation materials for various stakeholders
- Work with the various CSR teams on developing business plans, driving continuous improvement teams, and leading annual goal setting
- MBA preferred with a focus on business management and operational efficiency
- Minimum 5 years of combined management consulting and/or operational management experience-preferably in a globally complex corporate environment
- Experience building business intelligence and/or data management systems
- Experience managing teams
- Strong project management skills, having managed and successfully completed diverse projects on-time and on-budget
- Highly skilled in change management practices and driving organizational process improvements
- Superior cross-functional collaborator with exceptional general management skills and the ability to build relationships within an organization
- Strong influencing skills with a diverse set of partners and key stakeholders
- Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment with little direction
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills as well as attention to detail
- Ability to operate both in the details as well as at a strategic/macro level
- Strong interpersonal, written, presentation, and negotiating skills to quickly establish rapport and credibility at all levels within an organization
- Demonstrated experience working with geographically dispersed teams
- Excellent communication, analytic and problem-solving skills; sound business acumen, and executive presence
Pay Range: $210,000 - $240,000 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
