SENIOR ENGINEER - ARCHITECTURAL WALLS

INFINIUM has the need for a full-time Senior Engineerthat is conscientious, hardworking, and dedicated to join our team with the following:
Responsibilities:
· Lead the design, development, and implementation of new products, manufacturing processes, equipment, and tools to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
· Conduct research and experiments to improve manufacturing processes.
· Analyze data and make recommendations for process improvements.
· Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and develop solutions.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Sales, and Marketing.
· Lead the development and implementation of quality control procedures.
· Ability to strategically document technical information.
· Perform stress analysis on various materials.
· Develop and lead the implementation of continuous improvement and safety activities to streamline production processes and enhance product quality.
· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
· Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
· Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Engineering.
· Provide informal leadership to colleagues with less experience through mentoring, coaching,
and training.
· Lead formal projects by following project management processes with planned timelines and milestones.
Qualifications:
· Education: bachelor’s degree in engineering (from accredited college) is required.
· Years of relevant experience: 8+ years of Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
· Solid Works experience required.
· Architectural wall industry and construction experience preferred; Door and hardware experience preferred.
· Finite Element Analysis experience preferred.
· Experience with CNC machines and 3D printers preferred.
· Experience with CAD software and programming languages a plus.
· Product design experience and aluminum extrusion design a plus.
· Familiarity with fastening techniques, spring design, plastic and roller bearing engineering.
· Familiarity with manufacturing processes, assembly techniques, tools, and equipment.
· In-depth knowledge of best practices.
· Use judgment to solve tasks / problems in product management, manufacturing, technology, or engineering.
· Offer new perspective on existing solutions by using technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations.
· Self-starter with a passion for problem solving and driving solutions, while constantly learning and mentoring others.
· Strong technical, analytical, and leadership skills.
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
· Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes; ‘can-do’ attitude.
· Willingness to learn and adapt to new assembly techniques and equipment.
· Ability to work, take and execute direction independently and as part of a team.
