Job Description and Requirements
Preserve Title is looking for an experienced, resilient individual who will be responsible for handling all aspects of closing residential transactions. This position is for a Residential Escrow Officer, which will manage real estate transactions from external partners and ensure the overall process is completed in a timely manner with great attention to detail.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Executing business development activities to acquire new (external) customers and maintaining those professional relationships

Reviewing title commitments which includes curative work in regards to liens on property shown in public records.

Understanding residential & commercial contracts.

Preparing Settlement Statements or Closing Disclosures per sales contracts and instructions from lenders

Preparing Closing Packages
-
Conducting real estate closings
-
Receipt of escrow monies and disbursements of files.

Supervising escrow assistants work performance, quality of work and work schedules.

All other duties as assigned (note: essential functions and responsibilities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice).
Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED
-
5+ years of job related work experience
-
Strong analytical and problem solving skills to resolve complex issues

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
-
Ability to work in a paperless environment
-
Knowledge of The Texas Title Insurance Procedural and Rate Rules
-
Knowledge of FHA, VA, and Conventional transactions
-
Knowledge of Microsoft applications
-
Able to be bonded for Escrow Officer License and Notary appointment
Preferred:
-
1 year of job-related management experience
-
Experience with RamQuest
