The Cardiovascular & Specialty Solutions (CSS) Group, part of the Medical Devices sector within Johnson & Johnson, is recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst to support the Biosense Webster preclinical, clinical, and medical affair function (PCM). The position is in Irvine, California. This role may require up to 10% travel.

This role is pivotal in leading the PCM (Preclinical, Clinical, and Medical Affairs) activities of Biosense Webster Innovation catheter business by partnering with business partners to understand progress of programs/manage financial commitments and collaborating cross functionally to evaluate pipeline innovation. This role will also support our Coherex acquisition financial partners and function as finance lead for our CSS utilized Clinical Operations and BSDM (Business Statistics and Data Management) groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Detail program management w/ business partnering
- Financial Planning (including Budget/Forecast)
- Accounting Close responsibilities (including Journal Entries and Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations) including adherence to SOX, WWP’s and internal policies
- Partnering with other finance management and other functional areas throughout the organization
Qualifications
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Finance or Accounting.
- CPA, CMA, MBA and/or other financial certification(s) is preferred.
- A minimum of three (3) years of finance/accounting or related business experience is required.
- Candidate must possess excellent analytical (MS Excel), conceptual, communication and interpersonal skills, required.
- The ability to think strategically and creatively and work in a team environment is required
- Individual must work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements, work independently, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, required.
- The ability to effectively take on leadership roles and partner with associates at all levels of an organization in various functions is required.
- Knowledge of SAP, JDE, and/or TM1 is preferred.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device, or consumer products industries is preferred.
- The position is located in Irvine, California. This role may require up to 10% travel.
The base pay range for this position is $73,000 - $117,300.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
