The Senior Financial Analyst position will be a dynamic role within a fast-moving organization and environment. This individual will be a key member of the accounting team responsible for providing timely and accurate financial data to all levels of management, analysis and insight on various topics, and ensuring a sound internal control environment. As SRS is very active in growth via acquisition, this role will include exposure to M&A through post-close accounting. This position requires a driven self-starter with the ability to successfully manage multiple tasks, projects, and changing priorities.

Essential Job Functions

• Assist the accounting team in the monthly close process and the preparation of monthly financial statements and related reports.
• Prepare reconciliations of critical balance sheet accounts at the appropriate time intervals.
• Assist the accounting integration of M&A activity including the purchase price allocation, the working capital true-up process, and working directly with former owners
• Prepare and review journal entries across all segments of the business
• Prepare and review reconciliations of critical balance sheet accounts on a timely basis
• Review and resolve general accounting matters and requests from the operational and corporate departments
• Prepare ad hoc financial and business analyses.
• Focus on using technology to automate and add efficiency to current processes and reporting
• Maintain critical accounting and finance documentation that will be useful in both bank and financial statement audits.
• Assist in the preparation for financial statement & bank audits.

Requirements

• Public Accounting experience REQUIRED
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience
• High emotional intelligence and business acumen
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• High Proficiency in Excel
• Personable, Organized, & Attention to Detail
• Must demonstrate that you can work in a hands-on, team driven, high growth environment
