Job Description


We are seeking a driven Senior Financial Analyst to join our high-performing FP&A team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning and analysis and have demonstrated the ability to effectively communicate and partner with business leaders across executive and administrative leadership, operations, sales and marketing, product management and manufacturing.

This position will work 100% remotely. MUST reside in the U.S.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The Senior Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the company’s high-growth trajectory through financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, and should have extensive experience in building financial models to facilitate complex analytical, budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Participates in the annual planning and budgeting, and quarterly forecast cycles.
  • Participates in the construction and presentation of management reporting including financial results and performance metrics.
  • Compares monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results to planned or forecasted results; explains variances and makes recommendations for future actions.
  • Develops analytical models to evaluate job margins; performance and profitability of business segments and overall operations; financial benefits of special projects and acquisitions; and to support formation of business cases.
  • Effectively synthesizes large sets of financial and operations data to communicate the significant storyline in a clear and concise manner aimed at providing key insights for optimal decision making.
  • Leverages technology to streamline processes and perform work with a high level of efficiency.
  • Takes full ownership of assignments by taking initiative to seek out additional information, prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to fully meet expectations on or before due dates.
  • Continuously identifies and implements technical and functional improvements focused on quality, efficiency and effectiveness of processes and deliverables.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
  • Manufacturing, Supply Chain or Distribution knowledge and experience preferred. Knowledge of product cost, pricing, margins, inventory, etc.
  • Experience supporting multiple locations required
  • 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis roles.
  • Detailed-oriented person with proven analytical thinking skills, internal drive for results and personal accountability.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to share background analysis in a way that is easy to understand and supports resulting conclusions.
  • Experience using accounting applications and ERP systems.
  • Experience using financial consolidation, reporting, and planning applications.
  • Strong understanding of how key performance drivers impact financial results.
  • Proven data-gathering and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and draw accurate conclusions from various types of data.
  • Expertise in using Power BI to develop dashboards.
  • Advanced proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, including SharePoint- Expert in Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of programming languages is a plus
  • Willing to travel minimally within the US
