About Your New Job
You will be responsible for maintaining the accounting books and records of the fund clients, prepare financial statements and regulatory reports for funds as well as act as intermediary between investment advisors and the funds.
Core aspects of the role:
- Calculating funds expenses.
- Reconciling with the transfer agent and processing shareholder activity
- Reporting and calculating the funds Net Asset Values.
- Analyzing the fluctuations in funds values in relation to broader market changes.
- Mentor, coach and train employee's on the team where necessary.
What Skills You Need
- 12+ Months experience in a fund accounting role.
- Strong interpersonal and customer services skills
- Knowledge of MS tools (such as, Excel and Word) and/or other industry tools
- Third level education in Finance, Business or Mathematics
- Collaboration and independent working skills
