Role Purpose
The Senior HR Business Partner – Technology will be the HR lead for the Technology functions within Vodafone Ireland, directly partnering with the IT Director, Networks Director, Head of Vodafone Business Technology Solutions, and their leadership teams.
The role will be responsible for developing and driving the people plans and priorities for our Technology Business Unit, with a key focus on understanding and developing skills and capabilities, diverse talent management, organisational effectiveness, engagement and culture.
Reporting to the HR Director, the Senior HR Business Partner will sit on the HR Leadership team for Vodafone Ireland and will be responsible for implementing Technology HR Transformational programs, whilst actively participating in pan-European activities and projects.
Key Accountabilities
- Partner with the IT and Network Directors and Head of Vodafone Business Technology Solutions to develop, drive and facilitate delivery the people plan to support the achievement of the Technology strategy.
- Lead the evolution of the Technology operating model, to ensure future readiness, and operational efficiency
- Development of a robust talent strategy to drive a diverse pipeline of senior leaders both externally and internally
- Lead the delivery of the HR Strategy and people priorities within Technology, providing broad HR generalist support to the business function, whilst driving employee engagement and championing the Vodafone culture.
- Ensure strong relationships are fostered with leadership and management teams, with excellent communication skills.

Who you are
- Experienced HR Business Partner with a breadth of HR experience
- Leadership skills – ability to create alignment amongst multiple stakeholders with different interests by sharing an inspiring vision
- Ability to build strong working relationships, effectively networking and influencing
- Effective and persuasive communicator with an ability to create a broader sense of connection to deliver on vision and strategy
- Passionate about creating a culture of collaboration, transparency and trust across teams
What you'll need
Extensive experience of HR Business Partnering, demonstrated by successfully navigating a complex matrix organisation- In depth experience in Organisational Effectiveness and change management, with an ability to adapt and deal with ambiguity
- Employment law and industrial relations knowledge
- Innovative approach to people solutions, with a strategic mindset
