Job Title: Senior Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Department: Service

Reports To: Commercial HVAC Service Field Supervisor

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, eligible for OT

Location: Louisville, CO

Wage Range: $40- $50/Hourly

Job Description:

We are adding to our Service Department and are hiring a Senior Commercial HVAC Service Technician. The Senior Commercial HVAC Technician is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems utilizing their knowledge of refrigeration theory, electrical schematics, pneumatic and electronic control systems, pipe fitting, welding/brazing, and mechanical layouts.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Performs repairs, overhauls, and start-ups of commercial HVAC systems
• Uses a variety of hand tools, following blueprints, wiring diagrams, piping schemes or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units
• Self-motivator, Needs limited supervision.
• Ability to schedule oneself with customers.
• Takes responsibility for completing larger jobs with other technicians
• Assigns job responsibilities to apprentices and technicians that may report to you
• Prepares for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work as necessary.
• Documents work by completing paperwork daily on each job and maintaining files.
• Keeps current all manufacturers’ products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair
• Provides technical support to customers
• Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required including on call rotation

Qualifications:

• 12-15 years’ experience as a Commercial HVAC Technician – Specifically looking for strong Boiler Technician knowledge both in install and service
• Strong customer relationship skills
• Demonstrated ability in leading others with a positive attitude
• Boilers, Burner Controls, and Refrigeration
• RTU Install, Commissioning and Service
• Split System AC and Furnace Install, Commissioning and Service
• Valid CO Driver’s License and Clear MVR
• Current EPA License
• Can successfully pass a criminal background check, drug test and physical ensuring you can perform the duties of the job
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Willingness to be a team player and possess leadership qualities
