IS Technical Support I

Must reside in the state of Utah, USA (remote)

(C2C contracts are not an option)
  • This is a remote, work from home role. Please supply Home Internet Speed (www.speedtest.net)
  • Temporary position, 6 month+, convert to direct hire potential
  • They must work starting between 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Mountain time

2hr start windows: 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. MT including weekend day/night 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (Mountain Time)

Must have stable, high-speed Internet and secure and quiet home office.

Position Summary: This position requires the prompt technical responses to questions from Pharmacy Retail stores and pharmacy employees regarding troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving problems for their software and hardware issues. This position requires a thorough knowledge of problem escalation and follow-up processes to ensure timely resolution of reported issues. Related online diagnostics are used for troubleshooting; incidents are tracked in a case tracking system. The primary role of this position is to take live trouble-shooting calls daily 100% of the time. This position must deliver outstanding customer service in a timely and efficient manner and with a demonstrated commitment to 1st call resolution and overall customer satisfaction.

Duties:
  • Provide call center based technical support to store locations, vendors and staff.
  • Serve as first level for troubleshooting of technical issues encountered in stores.
  • Assure implementation based protocols are met.
  • Render assistance for equipment troubleshooting and ensure deployment process adherence.
  • Update Incident Database regarding resolution of issues and techs progress while completing work with in the store.

Required Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 1 year work experience in Helpdesk or Technical Support needed, preferrably a high inbound call center.
  • Must have 1 year of software or hardware - computer PC, laptop, mobile device troubleshooting skills coupled with diagnostic, and problem solving skills.
  • Must be able to take W2 hourly, C2C not an option at this time.

Preferred Skills:
  • Must possess clear, accurately and tactful, communication both verbally and written
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Access
  • Understanding of Intermediate/Expert technical terminology is preferred
  • Must be able to work independently and occasionally lead within a group
  • Technical installation experience a plus but not necessary
  • Certified CompTIA+ preferred.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required.
