What you will do
As Senior IT Business Analyst you will support the delivery and technical enablement of the business needs of the Johnson Controls Global Products Supply Chain Logistics and Distribution (L&D) team. Your focus will be on L&D Supply Chain activities, projects, and other initiatives in the EMEA region.

You will be accountabel for EMEA Supply Chain L&D solutions delivery and execution on a multi-year project roadmap. In collaboration with the IT L&D delivery team, you will have input into the technical solution(s) and fill the role of IT Business Lead in the delivery of approved solutions. Your goal is to deliver quality solutions that exceed business expectations.

This role can be remote and alternative locations in EMEA region can be considered based on individual cases.

How you will do it

Business & IT Alignment

• Develop detailed understanding of Supply Chain L&D business objectives, priorities, and requirements. Participate in road map and investment portfolio activities.

• Develop relationships with business stakeholders throughout the Supply Chain organization including Procurement, Finance, Logistics, Manufacturing, Quality and Commercial/Sales.

• Provide a high-level of service to enhance the customer experience with IT.

• Work with IT Business Partners to align project and activities. This could be Product Business Unit or functional Business Partners such as Purchasing, Quality, Manufacturing and Finance.

Solution Delivery

• Coordinates collect of functional requirements and provide support to communicate them to IT team members.

• Educate and coach the IT project team on business objectives and requirements throughout all phases of the project. Deliver and/or provide input for high-quality project charter, statement of requirements and functional specifications.

• Monitor technical solution progress and deliverables to project schedule. Guide User Acceptance Testing both from a technical and business process point-of-view.

• Proactively engage in regular project team meetings, operating committees, and steering committees. Seek opportunities to both optimize project delivery and resolve challenges.

What we look for
Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related discipline.

• 8+ years of solution delivery and large program implementation experience.

• 3 - 5 years of knowledge of warehouse management systems Blue Yonder and/or Manhattan and/or SAP EWM

• 3 - 5 years of ERP including SAP or Oracle

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Positive, collaborative and solution-oriented attitude.

• Knowledge of agile, dev/ops and waterfall project management methodologies with proven track record of successful program and project management and transformative deliverables.

• Knowledge to build and manage IT - business relationship, facilitation, communication and leadership skills with demonstrated ability to work with large cross-functional teams.

• Ability to identify opportunities for business value and process improvement, communicate strategies, and champion adoption to achieve desired results.

• Cross-cultural sensitivity and adopt values of leadership model in daily management work.

• Mix of technical/IT consulting and business background. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Problem-solving skills – ability to navigate technology and organizational issues to complete project tasks.

• Willingness to meet challenges and be able to work under pressure.

• Experience working in a Global company and delivering IT solutions globally. Ability to work effectively with global teams and shared centers.

• Functional knowledge of Global Supply Chain integration with Commercial, Finance, Engineering and Manufacturing Supply Chain processes.

Preferred:

• Solid experience with Blue Yonder and SAP

• Ability to explain technical problems in simple business terms.

• Familiarity with operational metrics.

• Ability to work in a matrix environment with multiple business and IT groups.

• Creative and innovative thinker with strong collaborative leadership skills to work in partnership with people relations and senior leadership teams.

• Occasional travel to company’s distribution centers may be required .
