CloudWatch is an observability service built for developers, system operators, site reliability engineers (SRE), and IT managers. CloudWatch collects monitoring and operational data in the form of logs, metrics, and events, providing a unified view of AWS resources, applications and services that run on AWS, and on-premises servers. Customers use CloudWatch to set high resolution alarms, visualize logs and metrics side by side, take automated actions, troubleshoot issues, and discover insights to optimize their applications, and ensure they are running smoothly. The CloudWatch team is growing and we are looking for an exceptional product leader to own the product vision for observability. This is a great opportunity for a senior manager to drive features for how customers leverage observability to manage and improve performance and availability. A day in the life Our goal at CloudWatch, is to ensure customers have an amazing observability experience, providing speedy insight, across their estate. This is a high visibility role requiring you to work closely with both buyers and sellers. You will be their voice in front of AWS senior leadership teams. You will own the definition, execution, and delivery of observability. Your responsibilities will include engaging with our customers to identify requirements, defining product features, and working closely with development teams to get those features in the hands of our customers. Successful applicants will have experience defining products, leading cross-functional teams, and communicating to a wide variety of stakeholders. You will also need to learn about capabilities from internal teams and be able to communicate effectively to all levels of the company, both in writing and in meetings. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $158,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $307,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
