Senior Market Manager, Regional Chains
The Senior Market Manager’s responsibility is to have ownership and revenue accountability for a portfolio of hotel partners in Ireland.
A person who can develop and grow relationships with hotel chain executives and partners as well as exceeding in internal collaboration, communication and influencing Expedia teams to execute and deliver.
What you will do:
Exceed major market management critical metrics for key regional chain portfolio
Identify key strategic growth levers and opportunities to help partners grow their business and increase revenue
Lead key updates with critical teams
Initiate and orchestrate market management growth initiatives, driving partner growth across market/destination portfolio, working with global, regional and local partners
Initiate and coordinate contract renewals in close partnership with market management and LSP (Lodging Strategic Partners)
Day-to-day internal and external relationship management, including senior-most executive and operational levels
Establish close interaction with key partners' teams including regular HQ and market visits
Develop positive relationship with internal partners to drive growth initiatives execution, strategic partner plan implementation and new business opportunities
Be a leader in the Dublin office, assisting the Area Manager with coaching and mentoring less experienced colleagues in account management
Representing Expedia Group in the Irish travel and tourism industry at conferences and networking events
Who you are:
Bachelor's in a related field; or equivalent related professional experience
Strong experience within account management, revenue management, sales and/or business development (approx. 4-6 years experience), with a credible track record of delivering success to senior stakeholders and partners
Proficient in English language and other relevant language skills
Expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Finds opportunities of growth, and collaborates in a constructive and consultative manner
Laser-focus on achieving a variety of important metrics (targets, goals and/or strategic objectives) set by leadership team
High impact personality: intellectual agility, entrepreneurship, emotional intelligence, standout colleague
Results-oriented, motivated and willing to take action
Highly developed organization and time leadership skills, attention to details

Ability to travel up to 25-35%, mainly within Ireland but also open to travel to other areas within the UK
Outstanding analytical and critical thinking skills and partner influence capabilities
Proven problem-solving skills and a curiosity to identify emerging business trends, use data and drive strategic growth opportunities
Appetite for innovative technology, constantly evolving business environment, decision making
Provide ongoing input to Senior management and contribute to cross functional Expedia business initiatives to proactively anticipate market impact and craft optimized roll out plans
Excellent customer service and sincere relationship-building ethic, strong social intelligence; earns the confidence of others; bridges and sustains solid partnerships based on mutual support through a collaborative style
Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
Able to represent Expedia Group in local markets
Build Expedia Group’s company profile with key influencers (e.g. tourism bureau, hotel association, etc.) and provide expertise to the local industry
Knowledge of hospitality and technology industries highly desirable
