This is a hybrid position. The incumbent Senior Mechanical (HVAC) Engineer/ Designer will primarily work from home, and work in our LA office, or at a client site, on an as-needed basis.

What You Will be Doing:
As a Senior Mechanical (HVAC) Engineer/ Designer at Interface, you will be taking ownership as a discipline leader on multiple projects. Your duties will include (but may not be limited to):

• Be responsible for HVAC system selection, engineering & design.
• Preparation of HVAC drawings, sketches, analysis, specifications and calculations.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
• Provide oversight of HVAC support staff.
• Provide construction administration & site observations related to your projects.
• Provide exemplary service to team members and clients.

To Qualify for Application:
The successful Senior Mechanical (HVAC) Engineer/ Designer candidate should have:

• BSME (or equivalent experience)
• 10-15 years’ experience in the commercial A/E engineering field
• Advanced knowledge of HVAC systems in healthcare, educational, and commercial sectors.
• Knowledge of industry codes and standards

• LEED® Accreditation
• Working Autodesk® REVIT knowledge
• Working Trane® Trace 700 knowledge
• Working EnergyPlus Energy Modeling™ knowledge
