The Opportunity
ILIM has an exciting new permanent role for an enthusiastic candidate to work as a Senior Multi-Asset Analyst within the Multi-Asset Solutions Team. This team is responsible for the development of multi-asset and structured investment solutions for ILIM’s Retail and Institutional clients, with direct responsibility for over €15bn in assets.
The role will be Dublin based and will be in a hybrid environment with some days in the office and some remote.

Key Accountabilities
- Contributing to idea generation across equities, fixed income, currencies and alternatives
- Applying original top-down investment insights to multi-asset class portfolios in collaboration with single asset class specialists
- Maintaining and enhancing a number of proprietary quantitative tools used to assist our investment decisions
- Developing and maintaining systems to support the ongoing management of existing discretionary portfolios
- Collaborating with the wider Fund Management Teams in relation to the on-going product development agenda
- Providing insightful commentary on fund performance
- Undertaking new and explorative quantitative and qualitative studies and analysis to enhance fund performance and new strategy development
- Interacting with client and sales teams to support business development opportunities
Desired Knowledge / Experience / Skills
- A third level degree and/or post graduate qualification in a numerical discipline such as Quantitative Economics/Finance, Actuarial Science, Econometrics, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analysis or Engineering
- Minimum 2-5yrs relevant industry experience
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of mathematical modelling, statistical inference and econometrics
- Knowledge and exposure to various asset classes including Equity, Bonds, FX and Equity Options
- Can demonstrate the ability to successfully communicate complex material in a clear and coherent fashion to both internal and external parties
- Proven ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment
- Has experience of multitasking and effectively co-ordinating priorities, tasks and resources to achieve favourable outcomes on time and budget
- Ability to respect deadlines and to set realistic timescales for all the tasks and projects at hand

Fitness & Probity:
This role is a ‘controlled function’ as defined by the Central Bank Reform Act 2010 Regulations 2011. Any appointment will be conditional on the company being satisfied that the appointee meets the requirements as set out in the Fitness and Probity standards issued by the Central Bank.
