ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Developing web-based and client-based applications using C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and ASP.NET.

• Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful application design.

• Working in an agile team designing, developing and delivering solutions with focus on high availability, low latency and scalability.

• Collaborate closely with other team members and become a valued member of an autonomous, cross-functional team

• Continually improve our products, remodeling and refactoring the codebase to grow and evolve with current technology, the market, and end-user \customer needs.

• Troubleshoot environment, connectivity and integrations.

SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENT

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES

• College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science or computer engineering required; equivalent work experience considered. MBA degree beneficial.

• 3 or more years of experience building and maintaining web applications.

• C# as a primary programming language preferred.

• Experience with Python, Angular or React framework.

• Good understanding of Domain Driven Development, TDD, Design Patterns and SOLID principles.

• Clean Coder who is very productive, cares about quality and knows what it means to ship high quality code.

• Experience working in agile teams.

• Passion and curiosity for new technology in the ASP.NET and JavaScript space.

• Commitment to communication and transparency; see value in sharing your thinking and work with others.

• Minimum of seven (3) years professional solutions architect experience required, working with RESTful Microservices built with NodeJS / TypeScript and JavaScript SPA applications such as Angular / TypeScript.

• Minimum of five (3) years of professional experience designing and implementing secure and scalable database solutions with relational T-SQL databases.

• Experience with API Management, VPN and Microservices required.

• Experience with Microsoft Azure, DevOps, and Containerization Technologies a plus.

• Technical knowledge of Astec Industries markets a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $85,797.01 - $149,285.12 per year
