We are looking for an industry-experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to join our team. The Senior Payroll Specialist will play a significant role in all aspects of payroll and is responsible to focus primarily on ensuring all employees are paid accurately and timely. Additionally, this person must be highly organized, responsive to restaurant managers and chefs, possess the ability to multi-task, and be very detail-oriented in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

• Processing payroll for multiple assigned companies with diverse administrative needs
• Ensuring accurate calculations, timely processing, and compliance with federal and multi-state laws.
• Process manual checks
• Managing regular preparation of relevant management reports, including weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports (gross payroll, hours worked, tax deductions, benefit deductions, etc.).
• Respond professionally and timely to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns

Qualifications:

• Payroll processing experience required
• Experience with Payroll Systems required, with ADP Vantage preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize competing workloads
• Benefits experience, preferred
• Experience with wage garnishments
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Multi-state payroll processing experience
• Knowledge of processing payroll for tipped employees
• Experience with tax jurisdiction set up & inquiries
• Strong computer proficiency using Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, and Outlook) required
• EXTREMELY detail-focused and hyper-aware of the human element of payroll processing
