Role Overview:

Collins Aerospace has an exciting opportunity to join the Mission Systems Pricing & Cost Estimating organization as a Senior Manager, Pricing & Cost Estimating. Candidates will have the opportunity to interact with all levels of the organization including the senior leadership team.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and guidance for a team of 8 pricing and cost estimating analysts
• Champion change management for your team and the sites that you support
• Partner with the Vergennes VT and Cheshire CT leadership teams to drive standardized proposal processes
• Capable of influencing proposal teams to ensure proposals are current, accurate, and complete
• Support the continued SAP alignment at both sites through open communication, collaboration and training to ensure the sites are compliant with the Estimating Business System
• Identify metrics and maintain reports to identify areas for process improvements and drive results
• Relationship developing is key for this role as you will work in frequent collaboration with others
• Understands Mission / Collins / RTX rules, policies, and procedures
• Ensures compliance with internal policies & procedures as well as FAR and DFARS requirements.
• Support customer fact-finding meetings, negotiations, and audits
• Ability to travel and work onsite at both locations

Basic Qualifications:

• Typically requires University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Effectively communicate with all levels of management
• Managing multiple and varied tasks
• Ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP, BMW, PARS, Pro Pricer and MS Excel
• Prior involvement with GFR, DCMA, and DCAA
• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in Cost Estimating or Pricing activities for US Government contracts
