Due to continued growth, our Power Delivery group is seeking a Senior Principal Distribution Engineer to work in the Kennesaw, GA office. This is a Part-Time only position

Responsibilities (including but are not limited to)

• Recruiting and supervising local and remote technical staff to develop and grow the Distribution Engineering organization throughout the Panhandle and Southern Alabama.
• Responsible for managing the distribution hardening and non-hardening initiatives using knowledge of electrical distribution system design engineering standards, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure that deliverables meet or exceed the client's expectations.
• Collaborating with clients to develop procedures that meet client requirements and increase effectiveness and quality.
• Developing and submitting regular reports to track business and report results.
• Developing and implementing plans and management of budgets and resources.
• Growing, marketing, and supporting the preparation of proposals, presentations, and overall client engagement.
• Leading, coordinating, and building teamwork among other team members/disciplines at all levels.
• Attending conferences, workshops, and technical committees to advance ENERCON’s market presence.
• Leads technical communication and coordination with internal and external clients.
• Work with Project Manager and Client to ensure a quality on-time deliverable, within budget.
• Problem identification and resolution.

Required Qualifications / Skills

• BS degree in Engineering and a minimum 10 years’ experience including 2 years’ experience as a work group lead or in a supervisory role in the distribution engineering.
• Entrepreneurial background and experience in growing a team and expanding business footprint.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a talent for providing excellent customer service.
• Understanding of NESC and NEC design requirements and basic regulatory guidelines.
• Experience in electrical codes, standards, and criteria for power systems.
• Candidates must be collaborative, innovative and team oriented.
• Must be proficient with typical office software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Windows.
• Must be self-driven in time management to meet deadlines and provide accurate deliverables.
• Ability to effectively communicate with internal, client and regulatory counterparts.
• Ability to travel 20-25% of the time. Duration of travel may vary from a few days to a few weeks.

Ability to pass a pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings, ENERCON and client specific background checks, and annual motor vehicle record (MVR) according to company and client procedures
