At our Peripheral Vascular Health team in Medtronic, plc, we focus on designing and developing cutting edge technologies for the manufacture of medical devices in the Cardiovascular Portfolio. Our Engineers are directly involved in the development of innovative products and processes for use in medical devices.

- As an engineer you will actively lead & participate in all areas of new product development including the following: Design, Technology development & advancement, Automation, Vendor management & Project management.
- You will use Design, Reliability & Manufacturability methodology (DRM), 3-
technologies for the manufacture of our new medical device product
ranges.
- You will collaborate with cross functional teams to define, execute, and

- You will lead a team & support process development, characterization, and validation activities to support new product introduction.

- Bachelors Level 8 Degree or higher in Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering or related discipline.
- 5 years + relevant experience in a similar role.
- Dynamic team player and can work effectively and proactively on cross functional teams.
- Experience in Process validation protocol and report writing.
- Ability to identify and resolve issues without direct supervision.
- We are looking for individuals who have experience in project management and leading small teams.
- Working knowledge of statistical tools such as DOE, SPC, Hypothesis Testing and Process Capability Studies.
- Experience developing and validating medical device manufacturing processes (IQ, OQ, PQ, and PPQ).
- Six Sigma training; Minitab and Design Expert skills (DOE and other statistical analysis).
- Stent, balloon, or other medical device catheter manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of medical device processes with a good understanding of
