The Human Resources Team of Oracle has an exciting opportunity for you to build on your operations and business skills, gain an end-to-end view of the HR organization, and work with multiple business and HR team members & partners. This is your chance to support and execute operations for the Early In Career (EIC) talent programs for all Oracle US Engineering.

The ideal candidate will have a consistent track record of execution excellence in talent development programs with measurable results, as well as experience driving meaningful action, be data-friendly and meticulous, and have excellent problem-solving abilities.


Role and Responsibilities:

  • Influencing, and gaining sponsorship from multiple stakeholders across Engineering Lines of business to ensure successful execution of the project / program
  • Identifying, prioritizing, and successfully executing a broad portfolio of early in career initiatives and programs
  • Creating project plans with timelines and identifying risks & blockers for execution for programs/tracks owned; Identifying inefficiencies and developing processes to address them
  • Providing regular status updates to HR & Business Leadership on progress made backed by data & analytics
  • Providing rigorous management and analysis of overall EIC portfolio budget (including spend and forecasted spend vs. budget, spend per program and historical trends, etc.)
  • Stewarding change and being an effective ambassador for projects / programs owned
  • Building and maintaining consistent reporting across EIC program portfolio
  • Continuously benchmark EIC program portfolio with industry best in class programs and identify new focus areas
  • Creating effective proposals to higher management for new program initiatives and spend
  • Using a combination of analytics and long-established expertise, tell the early in career story and influence organizational leadership on the direction of the program
  • Identifies, prioritizes, and successfully executes a broad portfolio of functional initiatives and programs.
  • Plans and directs schedules for multiple programs running simultaneously.
  • Partners closely with global cross-functional teams to understand and capture requirements for programs.
  • Navigates complex dependencies between cross-functional teams and organizational priorities to optimize the critical path and addresses & mitigates risks.
  • Effectively influences internal and external teams to prioritize; Drives mitigation plans and ensures ownership for each item and regular follow up through to program closure while ensuring resolution of risk and issues, escalating, as necessary.
  • Provides rigorous management and analysis of overall portfolio budget (including spend and forecasted spend vs. budget, spend per program and historical trends, etc.).
  • Establishes scalable frameworks (process, tools, etc.) for the end-to-end project and manages stakeholders applying project management standards and documentation best practices.
  • Runs stand-ups and sprint planning exercises for programs owned. Builds and maintains consistent reporting across numerous programs.
  • Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel. Performs other duties as assigned.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • 8 years combined experience with project management, data analysis and direct business experience within a specialized function.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management HR or related field.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with functional and technical teams.
  • Experience with building and managing reporting tools to support Programs; such as scorecards and KPI metrics to further drive insights around our program strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance quantitative and qualitative metrics to provide a holistic viewpoint.
  • Expert level experience with Excel, creating dynamic pivot reports and data visualization.
  • Ability to influence through data visualization and interpretation.
  • Self-directed and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous situations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
