Job description
The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Transformation Office team. As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll be an important part of the Transformation Office’s Project Management practice, improving ARRT’s ability to support its members. Using your expertise, you’ll be responsible for and oversee the planning and delivery of project to achieve business objectives.
You'll work closely with the project sponsors, cross-functional stakeholders, and the project teams to plan and develop project scope, schedule, budget, resource plan, and deliverable to achieve project objectives with quality. You'll also assess and manage risks and opportunities, track and report progress, manage issues, facilitate decisions, and manage change for the project while skillfully leading teams to maximize performance and engagement. The project / product delivery is through a mix of waterfall and agile practices.
Work location- either primarily remote hybrid (local Twin Cities metro candidates only) or onsite at our office in Mendota Heights, Minnesota.

Education:
- A bachelor's degree in information technology or business management, or the equivalent industry experience.
Experience:
- 7+ years of professional experience as a Project Manager
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and delegate.
- Experience in Microsoft Office applications, especially Project, Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in project management tools and collaboration tools.
- Experience in the health care industry is preferred.
Certification: A current project management designation (PMP, ACP, CSM, or similar) is strongly preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
- Proficiency in project management concepts, tools, techniques, and best practices
- Proven ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to analyze, simplify, and translate complex business problems and apply the appropriate level of planning, organization, and structure to drive results to multiple levels in the organization.
- Ability to determine how to identify and implement process improvements.
- Ability to analyze the impact of new requirements and features.
- Ability to adapt quickly to client, environment, and team dynamics.
- Ability to work independently.
- Experience with various project management methodologies including waterfall, agile and hybrids.
- Ability to lead meetings and interact effectively with various constituents and drive to consensus and resolution of questions/issues.
- Ability to handle concurrent projects of moderate or complex scope.
- Manage resource “budget” for maximum productivity.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office applications, especially Project, Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
- Proven strong verbal, written communication, and negotiating skills with the ability to adapt style and approach to various levels and audiences.
- Experience working both independently and collaboratively.
- Customer-focused, "do what it takes" attitude while being flexible and open-minded.
- Ability to multi-task (strong prioritization skills) with a sharp attention for detail.
- A strong sense of team orientation, with the ability to establish and foster strong relationships.
