An employer in the Cincinnati, OH area is looking for a Sr. Project Manager to join their Team. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing several concurrent Fleet Electrification Projects where electric school busses are deployed to various locations. The Project Manager will create and drive plans that will build the required electric infrastructure, hire the proper support personnel, work with federal and state officials to obtain grants and funding, procure and deliver the vehicles and put them into operation. The bus count at a location will be from a single vehicle to 100's of vehicles over time. The Senior Project Manager will also be responsible for presenting to various clients, be a part of major financial discussions and decisions, and will work with everyone from C-levels to lower levels. This individual must have a passion for learning about electrification as well. Some of the various responsibilities also include:

* Project management activities for concurrent complex projects

* Partner with internal and third-party development team members to managing project plan, deliverables and issue resolution

* Ensure that a test plan and test cases are created that will fully test the application and functionality

* Partner and work directly with Location Management and front-line employees for business requirement gathering and deployment tasks

* Establish production roll out plan and end-user communication plan

* Lead specific workstreams and deliver practical activities required to maintain progress to plan (for example, gathering requirements, negotiating contracts, managing suppliers, drafting reports, etc.)

* Work independently to draft project plan, project deliverables and resource requirements

* Manage multiple and concurrent large sized projects

* Work independently to drive execution of project tasks with escalation when required.

* Coordinate and lead weekly project status update meetings with core team members and IT Services Leadership Team

* Coordinate and lead daily stand-up meetings during roll out period

* Provide timely and accurate status and metric reporting.

* Proactively manage and resolve project issues, risks and conflict.

* Present project status updates to Steering Committee / C-level.

* Manage project tasks utilizing Microsoft Project and DapTiv PPM tools

* Track and report project financials

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
