This is a position in Quality Engineering responsible for implementing and driving the test strategy for SignifyHealth in one of the application teams in Ireland. You will regularly work with your team and management to plan and execute effective and efficient automation and performance testing solutions to accomplish timely delivery of high-quality software products.

What will you do?

• Plan a testing strategy for the feature stories in the current sprint, and approve test cases that properly cover all acceptance criteria flows.
• Test case management and organization into relevant test suites
• Defect triaging and defect mitigation and work closely with developers to debug and contribute to a fix.
• Lead an automated testing strategy in line with Signify Health QE recommendations and guidelines.
• Coordinate a performance testing strategy.
• Be familiar with the tools and technologies that your scrum team is using. This includes, but is not limited to, the programming languages, build tools, CI/CD pipelines, and environment configurations
• Actively get involved in releases and environment management and ownership
• Lead and participate in Dora Metrics, look for improvements for better engineering efficiencies
• Collaborate within your team with your peers, developers, devops and product and outside the scrum team with your peers in quality engineering to share ideas and initiatives improving testing capability and efficiency.
• Train/mentor new QE team members on skills and/or processes

Requirements

• 5+ years of Quality Test Engineering experience
• BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required
• Test Automation – In addition to creating/modifying test scripts, proficient in implementing major changes or upgrading the automation framework
• Databases - Write queries against principal tables/documents, understanding of db migrations/db schema augmentation
• DevOps - Able to design and create a DevOps tool partnering with DevOPs team (including Jenkins files) or create a deployment pipeline
• Analytics - Understanding of analytics reports and ability to create new reports
• Monitoring - Creating dashboards, insights, or new application monitors using New Relic or similar tools
• Cloud Infrastructure - Ability to use and configure Azure cloud services
• Scripting - Practical knowledge of at least one scripting language - write and leverage a script to streamline an existing process or flow
• Programming Languages - Applied knowledge of one object-oriented programming language - ability to implement a function/class/entity supporting an existing application

• Programming languages and packages – Javascript (Node JS), Open JDK, Apache Maven, Git, Azure CLI, Python
• Desktop applications and extensions – Docker, Scala Syntax, Microsoft SQL Manager (for Windows) or Azure Data Studio (for Mac), PgAdmin, Kafka tool, Postman and Visual Studio Code - Cross-platform code editor- Cucumber, Karate Runner, Extension Pack for Java, Live Share, Terminal/Powershell
• Test Data Management – DataGenMatchMaker, Test Address Console, PowerShell data generation scripts
• Cloud - working knowledge of Azure DevOps
