Job Description:
This Senior Financial Accountant – Solution Revenue will be part of the revenue accounting team with specific responsibility for solution revenue recognition under US GAAP including driving process improvements and automation of current process. The role will also be responsible for the preparation and maintenance of revenue recognition accounting policies including technical write-ups as required.
We are open to have a new Colleague working in this role from either Dublin, Ireland or Framingham, Mass.

- Champion the use of technology and collaboration between systems
- Examine existing and new systems for improvements, reporting common issues, and recommending new system procedures.
- Select the best-fit technology for the core business functions
- Construct and drive adoption of best practice processes across your domain
- Leverage automation to allow focus on high-impact activities
- Direct and guide business change related to the adoption of new Back Office technology
- Be a point of contact and share business domain and technology expertise with others as required
- Specify functional requirements to software development teams, making use of collaborative forums like the Back Office Roundtable to represent the needs of the business
- Lead systems implementation and systems migration projects
- Manage relationships with key technology providers
- Provide guidance and direction to reporting functions to enable the business to measure performance (KPIs) and understand what is happening (business insights)
The skills you will bring
- Qualified Accountant 5+ Years Qualified
- Experience in process improvements and systemization
- Strong excel skills eg. vlookups, pivots etc
- ASC 606 experience an advantage but not required
