The Senior Salesforce Developer will join the mission-driven, highly-collaborative IT team in Extended Education Ventures (

  • Maintain technical oversight of Extended Education Ventures’ existing Salesforce CRM. Ensure stability, maintain the integrations, and oversee user support and enhancements, which may continue to be provided by an external vendor.
  • Guide and empower Extended Education Ventures staff in various roles and levels of the organization to use Salesforce to achieve business and university goals. Seek out opportunities to enhance the utility and efficacy of the Salesforce platform in support of organizational objectives. Support superusers in implementing a train-the-trainer model. Oversee and maintain guidelines for user-implemented configurations.
  • Collaborate with the Extended Education Ventures IT team and the larger UT Austin IT community to research solutions and solve problems pertaining to Extended Education Ventures’ technical stack. Understand the IT resources available through the university, contribute to them, and draw upon them as appropriate. Supervise one direct report with Salesforce expertise.
