The Opportunity
This Senior Salesforce Developer role is positioned within one of our organizations that’s focused upon transforming our technology footprint supporting our sales distribution pipelines from prospecting, quoting &.onboarding clients.
You will be a member of a co-located agile delivery team (consisting of other Salesforce developers, automated test engineers and business analysts) responsible for delivering key features aligned with our digital strategy.
The Role
- Responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of new and existing features for the existing portfolio of applications for a business area
- Involvement with the architecture design for Salesforce solutions, helping identify key decisions, and mitigate potential constraints
- Leading a team of developers to implement solutions on the Salesforce platform
- Collaborates with Business Analysts and Product owners define & groom features with the goal of producing a technical solution design
- Participate in Proof Of Concept work and prototyping when necessary
- Support continuous improvement within the team through promoting best practices.
- Working within a CI / CD environment to enhance the automated release process & incorporating activities such as security and performance assessments before deployments
- Ability to learn and support multiple applications to enable our data integration strategy
What you offer
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science is preferred, or equivalent relevant business experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Development and Configuration
- Proficient in APEX, SOQL, SOSL, web services (SOAP or REST), Visualforce, Lightning Components.
- API integration experience is a big plus.
- Salesforce Certifications are a big plus.
- Ability to develop requirements for applications based on user input and needs.
- Ability to develop test cases, test classes for coding coverage.
- Experience working in Agile teams.
