Eaton’s Power Reliability Division is currently seeking a Senior Scheduler. This role is based out of Greenwood, SC.


The expected annual salary range for this role is $48,750.03 - $71,500.04 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.


Responsible for the Capacitor product lines in order to effectively support the production requirements for the plant. Balance the product line schedules to support level loading and balanced work schedules. Optimize and update planning bill-of-materials (BOMs) and capacity plans per product line.

What you’ll do:

  • Maintain continuing knowledge and an understanding of the Capacitor product lines, capacity and materials
  • Optimize the scheduling process between sales, engineering, procurement and operations
  • Manage and root cause production order variance to keep plant costs at planned levels
  • Process ECN (engineering change notices)/deviations in accordance to the process
  • Define production priorities to the production control team for optimized customer satisfaction
  • Help solve and root cause COGI errors, to prevent future issues from arising
  • Be the champion for the product line OTD metric and RGID process by identifying and correcting issues
  • Own the MPS (Master Production Schedule) for the Capacitor product lines, leading the plant to success
  • Analyze, report and creatively find alternatives to materials shortages that can affect plant production
  • Manage and optimize plant routings with the help of the operations and CI teams

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of an Associates degree from an accredited institution.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Greenwood will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering or Business from an accredited institution.
  • One year of experience within production, procurement or engineering within a manufacturing environment.
  • APICS CPIM certification
  • SAP Experience

Skills:

  • Knowledge of materials planning systems, production planning, inventory control, and stockroom operations, Kanban.
  • Basic knowledge of computerized inventory systems, scheduling techniques, general manufacturing, and ability to interpret drawings and prints.
